We live in the most welcoming communityI want to send a huge Thank You out to the parents and staff of the Fraser Creative Learning Center. My husband recently broke his collar bone, which required surgery, and I was scheduled to be out of town for Mayoral duties. Jess Barber, our son’s preschool teacher put together a food train for Eric and the kids while I was away for four days. Many parents chipped in to prepare easily heated meals for the family making Eric’s life a little easier! We live in one of the most welcoming and giving communities …

Thank you Buffalo Barbecue attendees, participants, and 5K runnersThe 69th annual Buffalo BBQ was a huge success, thanks to you all! The weather was fantastic and the turnout was terrific! Many thanks to all who participated in the 5K Saturday. We had 106 runners. Great job everyone who ran! Our appreciation also goes to the The Rotary Club who served “all you can eat” pancakes in the Heckert Pavillion-yummy! The Range of Motion Project (ROMP) will be leading a group of hikers up Byer’s Peak on Sunday, July 31. The ROMP is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide high quality prosthetic care in underserved populations, which enhances mobility and unlocks human potential. Lauren Panasewicz, or LP as she is often called, is a Fraser resident and Director of Events for ROMP. She is organizing the hike up Byers. Panasewicz works remotely for the organization.
