Requirements

Acceptable Documentation
Proof of Identity (ID)

 

  • Driver's License/State Identification Card
  • U.S. Military ID
  • Passport
  • International Driver's License
------ and any one of the following items ------
Proof of Local Property Ownership
  • Property Tax Bill of Property Deed (paper or electronic copy, Assessor's Database Search
  • An official letter from a condominium management company stating ownership of property
Proof of Grand County Mailing Address
  • Grand County Post Office Box receipt with your name on it
  • Recently postmarked mail received at a local PO box
  • Grand County Vehicle Registration or Voter Registration Card
  • An official letter from a Grand County employer stating that you are employed and receive mail at your work address
  • Recent Utility Bill showing local physical and mailing address

 Your first library card is free. Replacement fee for lost cards is $2.00. If you are under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian must provide a form of acceptable documentation listed above.
