Download eAudiobooks Directly to Your Device

Some mobile devices allow you to download directly from OverDrive to your device without requiring a computer. These include any devices running:

• Android v1.5 or newer
• Blackberry v4.5 or newer
• iOS v4.0 or newer
• Windows Phone 7
• Kindle Fire

Quick Start Guide for Kindle Fire

What you need

• Kindle Fire
• Wireless connection
• Amazon Account
• OverDrive Media Console app
• Library card

How it works

• Download the OverDrive Media Console app from the overdrive.com/software/omc/ website.
• Open the OverDrive Media Console app.
• Click on Get Books+ and Add a Website. Enter Grand County Library District or your zip to find our digital library (Marmot Library Network).
• Select Marmot Library Network.
• Sign in to your account with your library card number (to see OverDrive Advantage titles).
• Find an MP3 audiobook, Add to Book Bag, Proceed to Checkout, Confirm Checkout and click Download.
• When you download an eBook, your selection will open automatically in OverDrive's mobile app.

Quick Start Guide for iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch

What you need

• iOS Device (iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch)
• Wireless connection
• Apple ID
• OverDrive Media Console app
• Library card

• Open the OverDrive Media Console app.
