Artist Statement:  As a photographer I try to capture the moments that are special in the natural world around me and share these with others who are inspired and awed by nature. I have lived and worked in the Winter Park and Fraser Valley Area of Colorado since 1987 and my enthusiasm for the valley and surrounding areas is expressed in my photography of the mountain landscapes and the creatures that live here. I draw on my love of the outdoors and past experiences as a backcountry and fishing guide combined with my passion for photography to find and create photographs that represent these mountains and its inhabitants in a way that is distinctive and stimulating.

Grand County Comix ClubMatt Veraldo, Mr. V., is hosting the Grand County Comix Club, saying "my goal is to teach young people to make mini-comics using a mere 1-2 pieces of paper.  I make these comics myself.  I make them for conventions and sell them .  It's the perfect project for four days, and will teach some skills that can be applied to things other than comics."  Comix Club membership age is 12 years and up; however, younger students may be approved and join the club as junior members. Registration is recommended, but walk-ins will be accepted if there is room. All supplies are provided.
